VA mental health resources
All veterans can get mental health services at a VA medical center or vet center. Your discharge status does not affect your access. And you are still eligible for some services, even if you do not qualify for VA health benefits. Find out what resources and support are available through the VA for a variety of mental health conditions.
To start getting mental health services:
- Contact your local VA medical center.
- Contact a local vet center for counseling in a non-medical setting.
